Terms of Service

This is an English translation of the Korean Terms of Service. If the two differ, the Korean version applies.

These terms are an agreement between you, as someone using the Liko app and this website, and the operator, Jae Seung Lee (an independent developer). By using Liko, you agree to these terms.

1. Who can use Liko

• Only people aged 14 and up can use Liko.
• If we find an account of someone under 14, we delete the account and its information.

2. Accounts

• You start with an Apple or Google account.
• An Apple account and a Google account are separate Liko accounts, even with the same email.
• Keep your device and account from being used by others.

3. Rooms and invite codes

• A room is shared by 2 to 20 people, the owner included.
• Anyone with the invite code or invite QR can join until the room is full. Friends in the room can pass the code on too. If the code spreads somewhere you didn't want, the owner can make a new one in the room's settings.
• The owner can change the room's name, photo, member limit and grades, make a new invite code, remove members, make someone else the owner, and delete the room.
• Deleting a room deletes every review and photo in it. This can't be undone.
• If you leave a room, your reviews stay in it. Friends who join later can see earlier reviews too.

4. What you post

• You keep the rights to what you post, such as reviews, photos and room names.
• The operator stores, processes and shows your content to friends in the same room only as far as needed to run Liko. It is never sold or used for ads.
• This permission ends when you delete the content. Liko can't undo what other friends have already seen or saved.
• Post only content that doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

5. What not to do

Liko doesn't tolerate objectionable content or abusive behavior. If you do any of the following, we may delete the content, restrict your account or delete it.

• Harassment, threats, hate speech or discrimination
• Sexual content, especially content involving minors
• Illegal content or content that helps illegal activity
• Posting other people's personal information without their consent
• Spam, pretending to be someone else, or infringing other people's copyrights or trademarks
• Attacking the service, scraping it automatically, or getting around access limits

6. Reports

• Tell us about problem content or people by email (templer151@gmail.com). Including the room name and what happened helps us check faster.
• We review reports within 24 hours and, if needed, delete content or restrict accounts.

7. Changes to the service and shutting it down

• Liko is free. Features may change to make it better.
• If the service has to end, we announce it 30 days before on this website and by account email.

8. Limits of responsibility

• The operator works to keep Liko running reliably but can't promise it will always work without interruption.
• Reviews posted by friends are the opinions of the people who posted them.
• The operator is responsible under the law for damage caused by its intent or gross negligence.

9. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, we announce it on this page 7 days before they apply. Changes that work against you are announced 30 days before and also sent to your account email.

• These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
